The 2017 Health & Humanitarian Logistics Conference will be held at the UN City, Campus 1 in Copenhagen, Denmark. UN City houses 10 organizations—UNDP, UNEP, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNIDO, UNOPS, WFP, UN Women and WHO. The building has around 1500 employees from more than 100 different countries. UN City is one of the most sustainable buildings of its kind in Scandinavia. It has received a Platinum LEED-certificate and the European Commission’s Green Building Award for New Buildings.

How to Get Here

UN City is located at Marmorvej 51, DK-2100 Copenhagen. It is easy to reach by metro or bus, bicycle, or car from the center of the city. If you travel by metro, you can take the S-train on line A, B, C, E, H and walk 7 or so minutes from Nordhavn Station. If you are staying at the Imperial Hotel, you may take the train frmo Vesterport Station to Nordhavn Station and then walk to UN City, following the walking  instructions in the map below. Those staying at the Adina Hotel may walk to the UN City in 11 min following the directions below. If you travel by bus, you can take bus nr. 26 from Østerport Station in the center of the city. Using public transportation, the approximate travel time to UN City from Copenhagen Central Station is 25 minutes and from Copenhagen Airport around 45 minutes. 

If you wish to commute by bicycle to the UN City conference venue, it is just a 15 min ride from the center of the city (or from the Imperial Hotel, which has a limited number of bicycles available for guests). Security

In order to access the building, you will need to go through a security check similar to that at an airport. Therefore, we advise you to show up early, bring a valid form of government-issued picture ID such as your passport. For larger conferences and events, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Please do not bring any sharp objects (toiletry items, pocket knives, etc. that could be considered weapons) or you will be denied entry.
